Josh Tatum - Lead Guitar/Vocals
I was born Joshua Scott Tatum way back in 1988, and, well, I'm still Joshua Scott Tatum. My friends call me Josh (or sometimes Mr. Sunday). I was born in Midland, Texas, but I live in Fort Worth now and I'm a sophomore in high school. I write, sing, and play guitar for the band. I play a PRS CE 24 and use a Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier and have been playing for about eight years now. Some of my favorite bands are New Found Glory, Finch, Senses Fail, Brand New, The Early November, Hidden In Plain View, and the list just keeps on going for a long time... I play soccer (as long as it doesn't interfere with the band) and I attempt to keep skateboarding (but that's only while we're on the road because we keep a board in the trailer. If I can get away with it, I skate while Andrew and John load the trailer and Doug sleeps). Playing shows is definitely my favorite part of being in the band. The only part of playing shows that can be hard is dodging Doug's swinging sloth arms on stage. Thanks a lot to everyone who has been supporting us and helping us out since this whole thing started and we all really appreciate everything. e-mail me sometime at guitarjosh@justshortofsunday.com or I.M. me at JSOSjosh.
John Frankel - Drums
Montecatini cheap hotels I was born in Lexington, Kentucky and now live in Fort Worth, Texas. I began playing drums on a playschool set when I was between 2 and 6 years old. I got my first real drum set, a Yamaha Stage Custom, in the fourth grade and have been playing it ever since. I go to Fort Worth Country Day School, and I absolutely love creating music. Chipotle definitely is the best restaurant ever, and I go there almost every day. Thank you to anyone who has ever helped us and whomever helps us in the future and to all of our fans, you are what makes playing fun. If you would like to talk to me you can e-mail me at drumsjohn@justshortofsunday.com. Peace.
Doug Rosenstein - Guitar/Background Vocals
Hey. I'm Doug. I'm 17 and a senior in high school. I play guitar and sing some too in the band. If you can't find me at Andrew's, Josh's, or John's house, then I'm probably at McDonald's. I'm known for sleeping in which makes me late for some practices. I'm also known as "the sloth" because of my long arms. I love every band on Drive-Thru Records. Hope to see you soon at a show! -Doug
Andrew Vernon - Bass Guitar
My name is Andrew Vernon and I play bass in Just Short of Sunday. I was born in Arlington, TX, and now I live in Ft Worth where I am a senior in high school. When I'm not at school, I'm usually with the band at one of their houses. I started playing the standup bass in orchestra seven years ago, and picked up the electric bass two years later. I have two basses: a Fender P-Bass and a Washburn 5-string that I bought at a pawn shop and had an artist friend of mine repaint. I have an Ampeg B2R head and an Ampeg 410 cabinet. As far as food goes, I love Boston Market, Qdoba, Ho Ho Kitchen, Chipotle, Rosa's, and Zeke's Fish & Chips. I love most kinds of music, especially Story of the Year, most bands on Drive-Thru Records, Taking Back Sunday, New Found Glory, The Used, Senses Fail, plus some other stuff like U2, Bob Dylan, and Counting Crows. You should come to a show and check us out! The End.
